Zac Efron has come a long, loooong way since his High School Musical days. No longer the sweepy-banged, singing point guard of the late aughts, Efron has [insert whatever the most masculine version of “blossomed” is here] into a slobber-inducing man column of rippling triceps and sartorial excellence. This latest spread for BlackBook Magazine may not be as overtly sinewy as that Men’s Health cover snap, but this gentlemanly steez is equally swoon-worthy. PLUS, he’s cuddling with furry little animalfolk in every shot. AWWWWWW! *hearts grow and burst above head*

Okay, so the dude + animals + fall fashion isn’t that novel (remember Adam Scott for Maxim?), but where Scott’s spread goes for taxidermy and autumnal casualwear, Efron works LIVE animals and some slick tailored separates. Zac really knows how to wear a maroon suit, and while the one all the way up there *points to the top of the blog post* isn’t shiny, it iiiiis paired with a delightful blue ombre collared shirt buttoned up to the tippy-top and the blazer pockets are (delicately) stuffed with BUNNIES. This one, the kind of heathered, kind of tweed grey one he’s wearing while nuzzling his face into a friendly kinkajou, is paired with a black-on-black shirt-tie combination. Also, he appears to not be wearing socks which, when the shoe and pant call for it, is definitely something we are into (Exhibit A nomnomnomnomnom).
