The craziness surrounding the Nike Air Yeezy 2s is still VERY fresh in our minds (see: robbing, ridiculously overpriced eBay sales), and with Miami Heat star LeBron James' 10th sneaker release just on the horizon, Nike is planning on playing it safe this time around. The sportswear company just issued stricter rules for retailers, one of which nixes the iconic midnight release time, according to ABC News. The fights that broke out for previous sought-after sneaker debuts (like those Foamposite Galaxies!) usually happened around the wee morning hours, so retailers' doors will now open at 8 a.m.. Nike spokesman Brian Strong told ABC News, “Consumer safety and security is of paramount importance. We always encourage anyone wishing to purchase our product to do so in a respectful and safe manner, and constantly evaluate our distribution policies with a view to ensuring a positive consumer experience.” So why are people going crazy for these new LeBron X sneaks? Let's take a closer look!

The red, white, blue and gold kicks are the first shoes to incorporate the Nike+ Basketball technology, so you can track your performance with motion sensors inside the sneaks. SUH-WEET. Even despite all the techy amazingness, the shoes just look freakin' AWESOME with the 3D studded swoosh, blue and red laces, and transparent sole. But don't fall in love too hard just yet—these bad boys have been rumored to retail anywhere from $180 to $315. Whew. The kicks are set to release this fall, so starting saving those pennies now! But tell us, will you swipe up a pair of the LeBron X sneakers or are you not giving in to all the hype? Tell us in the comments below!
