Could Karlie Kloss be any cuter? Could we be any more excited to see the Target And Neiman Marcus mega-collaboration heading towards our holiday shopping lists like a juggernaut? The answer to both is a resounding ’no,’ and we basically already have our checkbooks out in anticipation of the shopping onslaught that’s going to ensue. Luckily for us, we’ll be getting our first look at the collection on Kloss, who is one of our all time fave models, in a series of ads that will span all platforms–from social media to print and TV–and, according to a Target spokesperson (as reported by WWD), make use of Kloss’ dancing chops. It wasn’t just her dancing, or her midwestern charm that got Kloss in the good graces of her Target/Neiman’s employers: the 19 year old model reportedly arrived on set with a plate of homemade cookies, and later, with two key lime pies, one baked my her mom, using her grandmother’s recipe. Is everyone taking notes? Karlie is giving us all lessons in how to be better people all around.
The line, which features 50 products designed by CFDA designers, will include pieces from Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler, Rodarte, Rag & Bone, and Jason Wu. Is it a coincidence that Karlie is often photographed arm in arm with Wu at events? The model and designer have one of the cutest friendships in the fashion world, and we’re so excited to see it manifesting yet again. The line will be available December 1st, so sharpen your refresh buttons (and elbows).
