Robert Pattinson can pull off a sleek Gucci suit like nobody’s business, but we all know that the Cosmpolis star would rather wear beat-up jeans and a comfy t-shirt over formalwear any day. This is why we’re excited to see him in his signature lowkey style, gracing the cover of BlackBook’s fashion issue, no less. Oh, and did we mention it’s the perfect excuse to take a break from all the K.Stew cheating drama while STILL getting your R.Patz fix? Well, it is. Fashion photographer Autumn de Wilde (who’s also responsible for those gorgeous Rodarte x Los Angeles Philharmonic images) shot the actor in a California roller rink dressed in graphic tees, jeans, and the occasional plaid shirt. Spoiler alert: he wears them all very well.

Guys aren’t usually the ones gracing the glossies’ September issue, typically the most profitable issue for mags. But even though he’s not a fashion-obsession chameleon like, say, Lady Gaga, we think it’s a brilliant choice of BlackBook to splash Rob across the cover. Besides the fact that he looks seriously handsome (that’s a given), he’s got several sure-to-be blockbusters in the pipeline….besides Breaking Dawn: Part 2, there’s also Mission Blacklist.

And the best part is, you don’t even have to wait until September to get your hands on the issue. The entire interview (plus a gallery, appropriately dubbed “Robert Pattinson Being Handsome”) is available online, and you can buy the issue on newsstands soon.
