If you didn’t catch last night’s 2012 Teen Choice Awards, our dude Justin Bieber brought it HARD on stage, performing a medley of his smash singles “Boyfriend” and “As Long As You Love Me.” The teen superstar cleaned up on the awards front, raking in a grand total of four surfboard trophies including *drumrolllllll* Choice Male Fashion Icon! The Biebz proved he was worth his salt on the sartorial front with an all-over metallic performance outfit, AND he brought back an updated version of that robot arm we saw last October.

Justin had us a fooled for a while with the glow-in-the-dark ensembles and sporty casualwear, but as soon as soon as he resurrected the head-to-toe leather look, we should have known his latent steampunk side would be rearing its head again. We (wrongfully) thought the “Single Ladies”-reminiscent roboglove had been laid to rest with Bieber’s industrial drummer boy steez, but last night’s performance outfit had us eating our words. Justin’s Teen Choice robot arm is decidedly sleeker and more pop-and-lock-friendly with slimmer metal panels, a two-piece construction with separate cuffs for his bicep and forearm, and extends into a metallic gold fingerless driving glove situation rather than that SkinzNHydez gauntlet from “Santa Claus is Coming to Town.” What do you think of Justin Bieber’s robot arm style?
