With his music career, fashion following, and crazy good looks, Mark Ronson is setting the bar really, really high for all the other dudes out there today. But hey, we’re not complaining! He clearly knows his stuff. He dropped by MTV back in 2010 to fill us in on his then-bleach blonde hair, men’s fashion, and obsession with jazz shoes, and since then the British DJ and musician has cemented his place in our hearts with his audacious style sense. After all nobody can work a pink suit quite like him. For his latest project, the well-coiffed fashion plate and member of multi-talented Ronson clan is lending his face to Fendi’s debut men’s fragrance. The Grammy winner fronts the campaign for Fan di Fendi Pour Homme, the first cologne produced by the Italian fashion house. According to French VOGUE, the brand wanted someone “both modern and rock ’n roll” who would embody Fendi’s view on masculinity. Needless to say, it’s a perfect fit.
Ronson appears with Polish supermodel Anja Rubik in the glam black and white ad, wearing a crisp white shirt, black bow tie, and sleek jacket. Spoiler alert: he looks good. Fendi’s clearly onto something with this music-fashion melding, and it’s not the first time the brand has combined the two. The Kills’ track “Cheap and Cheerful” appeared in a 2010 commercial for the female fragrance Fan de Fendi, and for the past several years the “Fendi O'” music series has seen performances by Lykke Li, Duran Duran, and Kanye West. Next up, who knows? Now that Mark Ronson’s on their radar, it wouldn’t surprise us if a Fendi mixtape hit the internet in the near future…
