We're going to have to wait to find out whether or not last week's rumors of Lana Del Rey fronting H&M's new ad campaign are actually true (fingers crossed!), but, in the meantime, here's something we DO know for sure about the mysterious New York musician: the singer will channel Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in the forthcoming video for her single "National Anthem." Needless to say, it's going to be epic. We've been counting down to the vid ever since Rolling Stone reported that A$AP Rocky would be playing the late President John F. Kennedy in the clip, and now we're thisclose to finally seeing it all go down.

Lana's been dropping hints on Facebook about the video concept over the past couple of days, posting sneak peeks of her amazing '60s-inspired Jackie O. wardrobe. And from the looks of it, they're going all out. Seriously, it doesn't get much better than the iconic First Lady's pillbox hat, mesh veil, and retro collared coat she sports in the photo at the top, does it? The subtle diamond earrings and turtleneck is definitely a change from the fashion darling's signature vamped-up style, but it totally works here. We're equally obsessed with the photo above, where Lana's rocking a sleek side part (different from the sky-high bouffant she's been sporting lately!) and a slinky diamond-emblazoned dress. Oh, and do you notice the Presidential Seal and flag lingering not-so-subtly in the background? Nice touch! America the beautiful, indeed.
