Tomorrow would have been Tupac Amaru Shakur's 41st birthday. The man was visionary and a trailblazer and will live forever a legend for his contributions to the rap canon. Last year, we honored Pac's day of birth with a little style retrospective, reminding ourselves (and hopefully all of you) that dude, with his denim-on-denim game and seriously luscious eyelashes, was a tooootal babe. Between that birthday and this one, the Tupac homages have only snowballed - I mean, we'll likely be talking about that Coachella hologram for eons - so we're spotlighting our four favorite fashion tributes to Tupac from the past year.

Rihanna illustrated her love for 'Pac this year, inking her knuckles with "Thug Life" in white as an homage to his iconic tummy ab tatt (a look she later ALSO recreated via magic marker at Coachella this year. W Magazine paid tribute to a host of music's biggest style icons, and naturally, Tupac was an integral part of the feature. Terry Richardson shot Joan Smalls dressed to emulate the rapper's style in a Bottega Veneta nero jersey jacket, BCBG rayon t-shirt, Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci necklace, and of course, 'Pac's signature front-tied bandana.

Tupac Shakur, Iggy Azalea, Karl Lagerfeld

Australian rookie rapper Iggy Azalea has been known to perform more than a few times in Tupac regalia, but we especially like these split-image pants she tweeted which remember the too-short but extremely fruitful lives of both 'Pac and Biggie. But one of our favorite tributes of the year has to have been this colorful sketch by Chanel's Karl Lagerfeld which Interview Magazine used to revive a archival piece about Tupac in light of his major resurgence in current popular culture. Which Tupac fashion homage is your favorite?
