Kristen Stewart has performed alongside shimmery vampires, creepy werewolves, and a seriously evil queen in movies, but the actress has a different kind of costar on the cover of Vanity Fair. For the July 2012 issue, K.Stew shares the spotlight with an ADORABLE mini Pomeranian puppy (pause for collective “awww”) while sporting some of Spring’s haute couture collections. Photographer Mario Testino shot the movie star in various locations across Paris, where she rocks everything from gold sequined evening wear to a feathered ballgown to- shocker!- a pantsless corset. But while she may LOOK regal on the glossy pages, inside the mag Stewart proves her off-duty style hasn’t really changed, post-fame.

Stewart tells VF that although she doesn’t go “out in her underwear” anymore like she used to (seriously!), she still doesn’t stress out over looking perfect 24/7. ““I get some serious sh*t about it. I’m not embarrassed about it. I’m proud of it. If I took perfect pictures all the time, the people standing in the room with me, or on the carpet, would think, What an actress! What a faker! That thought embarrasses me so much that I look like shit in half my photos, and I don’t give a f**k.” After all, this is the girl who pairs sneakers with designer duds...and makes it work. Although she’s made it clear she prefers Converse to couture, she cleans up well in the mag, rocking a Jean Paul Gaultier corset and diamonds and emeralds. Between the super-glam VF spread, her vampy Interview feature, and working double duty as a dude in ELLE, these high-fashion pubs show K.Stew playing opposite to her casual personal style. Which version of the actress do you like best?
