File this one under: TOTALLY AWESOME BREAKING NEWS. Even though the MTV Movie Awards don't happen until next Sunday, Emma Stone has already scored a coveted golden popcorn. How, you might ask? The actress has won MTV's first-ever 'Trailblazer' award, an inaugural honor given to the star with the most diverse and genre-hopping performances. Thanks to roles in The House Bunny, Easy A, Crazy Stupid Love, and the upcoming blockbuster The Amazing Spiderman, the 23-year-old has been all over the movie map (and nabbed a couple of golden popcorns along the way, including last year's Best Comedic Performance win). Since she's already being celebrated for her versatile acting chops, we figured it was about time she gets a shoutout for her equally trailblazing style, as well. Although her fashion sense has evolved in a huge way since her Superbad days, Stone knows which colors, cuts, and trends work best for her- and she's stuck with 'em over the years.

Fiery reds and hot pinks perfectly offset her siren hair, so Emma Stone first started working the hue back in 2010 at the Friends With Benefits premiere in a Giambattista Valli top and peplum skirt. She tried out a different version of the shade at this year's Academy Awards show, in a floor-length deep cherry gown also by Giambattista Valli. At the 2012 Met Gala earlier this month, she rocked a frilly Lanvin frock, adored with teeny floewrs. The girly cut is a different silhouette than what we're used to seeing on the star, but we liked the breath of fresh fashion air.

Emma Stone, minidresses

Embellished minidresses are another Emma Stone fashion staple, like the glittery Pucci number she sported to the Los Angeles premiere of Easy A. She donned similar sparkles to the 2011 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Chanel Couture. But this time she took things up a notch, adding a long train to the short hem (not to mention, newly bleached blonde hair- bold!). Next up, who can forget her awesome lacy Bottega Veneta dress she wore to last year's MTV Movie Awards? Clearly it was a lucky choice, since she ended up taking home the "Best Comedic Performance" prize that night. Place your bets on whether or not she'll continue the trend this year...

Emma Stone, gowns

She's 5'6" tall, but when Emma Stone rocks her trademark column dress, she looks every inch the towering supermodel. She grabbed our attention in a gorgeous floral full-length Lanvin gown at the "Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty Met Gala" in 2011, topped off with magenta lipstick. The actress slipped into a similar silhouette at last year's Golden Globes in a peach Calvin Klein collection dress. And to prove that three times really is the charm, she sported the look another time at this years Golden Globes ceremony in a purple and fuchsia Lanvin gown. Cinched with an AMAZING eagle belt (we need to find a lookalike for ourselves, asap!) and a major slit that gives Angelina Jolie's right leg a run for its money, it proves that Emma has really stepped up her fashion game.
