Shopping Bethany Cosentino’s new Urban Outfitters collection, is preeeeeetty close to raiding the Best Coast frontwoman’s undeniably amazing closet (okay, maybe that’s a stretch, but still…). However, if you’re dying to get your hands on that awesome Joni Mitchell varsity jacket she sports on the cover of this month’s Paste Magazine, well, it’s going to be a little harder than driving to your local UO. Decked out in her trademark retroClueless meets Stevie Nicks” style, the California musician combines old and new on the front of the mag wearing a cat printed skirt with a hand-me-down oversized coat. Think the jacket looks familiar? Maybe you’ve spotted it in this adorable promo vid for Bethany’s new collection, where she flaunts the piece and admits it’s one of her favorite staples in her closet. The item was a birthday gift from her mother two years ago, and Bethany admits she “since then she’s been really obsessed with varsity jackets.”

Even if you can’t score the exact same topper, here’s a close alternative. The Bethany Cosentino for Urban Renewal “Frank” Jacket is a cropped, girly version, and retails for an easy $69. Unless you’re willing to stalk your local thrift store, instant gratification has never looked cuter.
