And the countdown begins! Just one more week until Lady Gaga’s Asia and Europe “Born This Way Ball” tour begins, and she’ll be back in the limelight for all of us to “ooh” and “ahh” over once again. Lucky for us, we got hit with a Gaga-goes-on-tour present a little early—Giorgio Armani released sketches of her on-stage ensembles (!!!) so we can peep what Mother Monster will wear over the next few months. The obvious winner in all of Giorgio’s looks is the keyboard and guitar mash-up headpiece. According to the press release, it’s made out of “transparent Plexiglas, black crystals, and luminous studs” which creates “a Cubist composition of abstract guitars.” Dang, Giorgio ain’t playin, y’all. Her thigh-high boots are black vinyl (of course), but we only have one question: Where does her hair go? The second ensemble is an equally-interesting long, nude latex tunic which features “PVC elements [that] create flashes of synthetic light inside the garment.” Wuuttt. The press release also said, “The same avant garde lighting is featured on the triangle decorating the chest, on the headpiece, and on the platform of the matching latex ankle boots.” OMG, is Gaga giving Daft Punk’s light-up helmets a run for their money?

In another insanely cool outfit, Giorgio created a PVC bodice with spikes and Swarovski jet crystals paired with a matching headpiece. Oh, and all that fringe on the bodice creates “moving architecture,” according to Armani. The final ensemble features “robotic thigh-high boots” (WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?!) with another PVC and metal studded bodice. The outfit is also covered in metal inserts to match gloves that—GASP—have mirrored nails on them. We cannot WAIT to see these bad boys come to life onstage, but we need to know—which ensemble are you most looking forward to seeing IRL?
