We love a good fash collaboration, especially between a major designer and a classic shoe company. But we've got to give a standing ovation to the latest Missoni and Converse joint effort. Yes, what you're seeing above, folks, are some prettttty dynamic Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars rendered in Missoni's classic zig zag print with flecks of gold metallic detailing. Aren't they GORGE?? If you can believe it, this is the fifth time Missoni and Converse have collaborated, but this spring 2012 collection will not only see two exclusive womens-only versions of the Chuck Taylor but also a super kewl blue and white unisex version, too.

We're bananasville for a classic Missoni print and have been coveting anything we can our hands on since that Missoni for Target debacle that left many of us empty-handed. *tear* But while this new collection is a basic pair of Chucks—white soles intact and the Converse All Star logo muted in all-white too—the Missoni knitted print really transforms the style. Both zig zag options are textured and feminine rendering them collabo perfecto for every jeans and tee combo you wanna throw together. We'd even pair them with knit maxi dresses or slouchy shorts and an off-the-shoulder sweater for the kind of sporty look that's dominating the style landscape these days. The navy and white unisex shoes are super special too. Multi-stiched and space-dyed with a navy toe cap and matching laces, we'd throw these puppies on with some sort of mixed print ensemble for a bit of tomboy chic. Retailing for $200, they're now available in limited-edition quantities at Jeffrey, Fred Segal, Aloha Rag NYC, and Missoni stores globally. Slightly more than your average pair of Chucks, yes, but what price do you put on shoes that zig zag their way into your heart?
