GASP! Anne Hathaway ditched her long locks for a super short pixie cut. The actress was spotted in London on Saturday with freshly-shorn hair thanks to her current role as Fantine in the Les Miserables film. Her chestnut brown hair is shaved super close on the sides with a little extra length on top, but for the most part, there's barely any hair there! The last time Anne debuted a shorter 'do she TOTALLY tricked us into thinking she chopped her hair off. It turned out she was only wearing a wig, but this is the real deal. Anne's shorter look totally reminds us Emma Watson's mini pixie cut, and we think it gives her an edgier, '60s look that she didn't have before.
I mean, we're not gonna lie—she definitely rocked the long, soft waves with the best of 'em, and we'll totally miss the way she could effortlessly transform her look from beachy cool to retro chic, but we're excited to see how she styles her hair now that it's short. We'd love to see her go all-out Twiggy by growing out the bangs and rocking a deep side part. Plus, she's got those GORGEOUS big eyes so she could totally play up her peepers with some cat eye liquid liner and heavy lashes. Oooh, this could be fun. Who knew getting rid of so much hair could actually add MORE playfulness to your daily beauty routine? Not us! But we want to know—do you like Anne Hathaway's new 'do or should she have stuck with her long locks? Tell us in the comments below!
