Harnesses, gorilla arms, and covered faces were big trends at Fall 2012 New York Fashion Week.
New York Fashion Week has wrapped, so now it's a time for reflection. A time to take stock and truly think about what trends to incorporate into your new fall wardrobe. It's also a time to look at videos made whilst one is tired and strangely retaining water in one's puffy moonface against the backdrop of spliced-in photos of models looking waifish and extra cheek-boney. SERIOUSLY, do I look like this? Also, don't answer that.

Here, we have created a video for you that includes the four most notable trends of the season as gauged by prevalence on the runway: loooooong, lean lengths; leather; fur; and artful collars. From Rodarte's shearling dress to Herve Leger by Max Azria's leather harnesses, to the ubiquity of a thing called "gorilla arms," here is my enormous head looming before you in hopefully a nonthreatening (at the very least) manner to
spasm chat about a New York Fashion Week fall trend cheat sheet. Namaste. Or whatever.
