Oh, hello. What ELSE were we expecting from an Azealia Banks V Magazine spread styled by Mugler's Nicola Formichetti? Goodness, girl looks hot. If you remember from our earlier post spotlighting the Twitter love fest from Azealia and Nicola, you'll remember the news that the two were collaborating on a fashion editorial shot by Inez and Vinoodh and her new "Liquorice" video. Well the V results are finally OUT and they are luxurious.

Well the V results are finally OUT and they are luxurious. In fact, we've never seen Banks appear more ravishing. Sporting the CRAZY ubiquitous "Gorilla Arms" trend, Azealia wears sleeves by Tripp NYC over a skintight latex top by House of Etiquette, leather skirt by Jeremy Scott, hat and "dope" ring by Year Zero and the sickest bejeweled devil's horns headband by Jennifer Behr.

We've also never seen AZ look more naked with dark, dramatic makeup (M.A.C. Black Knight lipstick much?) and wavy Lady Godiva hair. You can read the interview with Young Rapunzel (an apt as hell moniker right about now) here but in another interview that surfaced this New York Fashion Week, Fashionista caught up with the Lady Gaga cohort and asked how this collaboration came about.

"It’s super simple. I was just listening to ’212? and I was just tweeting about how I loved the song and she tweeted me back saying, ‘I love you too’ and [I said] ‘I love you more’ and we just met up and I shot her for V magazine and we started collaborating and she asked me to do her new video, so I directed her ‘Liquorice’ video last week in London and we are editing it at the moment."

As for the aesthetics of the video, the creative director and stylist had this to say:

"We’ve done some matador looks, kind of Harlem chic.. ['Baby Spice,' Nicola's friend added]. It was more like sports wear, but [we] pushed it with like the platform on the [Nike] Air Max and customized jumpsuits and things like that. It’s really beautiful. It’s cool and it’s not try hard. It’s very something that she would wear. In fact, she kept everything and went out [wearing the clothes]. I like when that happens."

*THUNDERCLAP* So it seems the sky-high Jordan 3s we saw were for her video shoot (where are the Air Maxs??? WANT TO SEEEE). Harlem chic meets Baby Spice? Cannot wait.
