The decibel at which my ladychild heart screams for Justin Bieber is admittedly way unhealthy (and let’s face it, borderline illegal) for a woman of my age. The image of Biebs set against a backdrop of fireworks and the Magic Kingdom that’s strewn across my desktop, I’m sure, doesn’t help my case either, and real talk, it’s only a matter of time before Justin’s entire V magazine cover shoot occupies every stretch of bulletin board space flanking my work area. But why should I be ashamed of that? If you’ve never taken a tour of the Kidrauhl archives, you’re (a) missing out and (b) probably unaware of what a legitimately talented vocalist this kid is. He may have started out a precocious little tyke, but pubescent voice changes withstanding, Bieber has the potential to ride out an impressively long-lived career.

The image of Justin as teenybopper sensation has hardly worn off yet, but as Le Biebs nears adulthood (turning 18 in March), he’s already beginning to exude and carry himself with a little more maturity. I mean, it takes something more than a child to break hearts shooting “Blue Steel” from behind a cutout raw-edged Dolce & Gabbana sweater. Granted, he still has an unshakable baby face, but Bieber manages to vascillate betwixt the weirdtresting spheres of Boy and Man throughout the entire Nicola Formichetti-styled/Inez and Vinoodh-shot interview spread.

The look on our Prince of Pop’s face is cherubic for sure, albeit a little perplexed. Granted, we’d probably have a similar reaction if we were wearing an askew Spartan helmet (courtesy of Marianna Harutunian) in place of our customary fifty cap. The embellished Versace jacket slung haphazardly over his shoulder and the Mugler muscle shirt lets Bieber show he’s been working on his triceps a lil between penning raps.

Apparently, pop’s golden boy has just been hitting the gym harder in general. This raw-edge Dolce & Gabbana cutoff tank highlights the dedicated attention Justin’s been paying to his biceps, too. Also, we’re swooning over his all-black-everything watch, and are not surprised to learn it’s his own custom Gucci. *brushes shoulders off*

It’s times like these that we really wish we could pull a Freaky Friday with Selena Gomez. That way, we could swipe this embossed detail Versace sueded jacket wheneeeeever we darn well pleased.

This is both the most quizzical image of Bieber and our favorite of the set. From the Marianna Harutunian olive branch crown to the snuggly looking geometric print Mugler sweater, it’s so fecund with wide-eyed Little Prince hopefulness and white knight lady-slaying good looks.

This is probably the most classically “Bieber” look of the lot, and at the same time, definitely the most MC Hammer-inspired. The metallic vest and pants set are from L.A. Roxx and strike just the right balance of urban streetwear meets futuristic space punk that Justin is so prone to wearing nowadays.

Add a wireless keyboard, a tacky blue background, and a soft filter, and this pose + knowing expression + closed-mouth smile + silver leaf Bess NYC moto jacket are precisely the ingredients we imagine would make up a Justin Bieber senior portrait.
