We don’t know about y’all, but we are GRIPPING our rolling desk chairs with white-knuckled anticipation for the release of Justin Bieber’s V Magazine cover. The glossy hits stands in exactly one week, but if you’re like us and already pulling out your hair thinking about how long it will take for next Thursday to roll around, here’s a treat to tide you over. Along with a link to preorder this special “Music Issue,” V and cover shoot stylist, Nicola Formichetti (you MAY have heard of him, IDK *intense sarcasm*), have revealed this teaser image featuring HALF of Bieber’s mug. (!!!!)

Maybe it’s our loopy sleeplessness from staying up all night to read Kanye’s Twitter soliloquy or perhaps that taunting grin Justin is shooting our way from behind our computer screens (via a seriously Bieberlicious desktop wallpaper) that’s making us so frenzied about this partial disclosure, but we are squealing with delight at the sight of this thing. It may not seem like much, but we’re still getting a LOT out of just this portion of the final image.

We already deduced that Bieber was the reigning King of Jackets, so for him to don this leather number for the cover shoot doesn’t come as much of a surprise for us. We ARE giddy with excitement about what looks like a grip of mini domes and studs adorning his left shoulder in a snowflake-like pattern. Also, the buckle detailing OVER the zip closure is fascinating. His top is Mugler, naturally, and features the label name in backwards sans serif lettering across Bieber’s chest. The only facial feature left visible is his unmistakable pout, which Nicola and V have left bare, youthful, and flanked by the flaring lines of a “V” riddled with hyper-saturated collage work. Despite this grand partial unveiling, we’re still twiddling our thumbs waiting for the proverbial full monty because at the end of the day, we’re most interested in what Gaga creative director extraordinaire Nicola decided to do with aaaall Bieber’s HAIR.
