Can we be honest for a sec? We basically die and are reborn each time Rihanna plays dress up. In the spirit of the incomparable Madge (that's Madonna for you youngins), Rihanna reinvents herself more often than most people change clothes. Each time she does, we just HAVE to take a minute out of our increasingly busy schedules to glorify and dissect the Bajan beauty's new look. And no, we are not ashamed. For her new album, Talk That Talk, Ri Ri has completely transformed into a bad-ass, grunge-loving, rocker chick! We drool over each photograph we see of the pop princess in combat boots, faded jeans, pin curls, and a FIERCE poker face. And just when we thought we had obsessed more than humanly possible, we got a glimpse at a behind-the-scenes video for her latest song, "You Da One."
And guys, Rihanna is now blonde. This is not Taylor Swift or Beyoncé all-American blonde, either. Ri keeps it sassy with a platinum blonde bob and some blunt bangs that are just as SICK as her uh-mazing red locks (circa two image transformations ago). But that's just the beginning! The budding fashion icon (yes, we said it) slips on some killer black LEATHER overalls and a to-die-for fishnet jacket and pants set, which she pairs with a black bra, naturally. And THEN, the camera spans over her video wardrobe, which contains more treasures than our fashion-loving hearts can stand: red and black polka dot rainboots, funky printed tights, blue and red plaid jackets, a metal bullet chain link necklace—we're DYING over here.
After we finally finished palpitating over her wardrobe, Rihanna emerges in what is clearly one of the most GLORIOUS outfits to ever grace the set of a pop video. Denim shorts that look like they've been ran over by a pick-up truck on purpose, a crop top, a white top hat, Boy London printed leggings and...a PIMP CANE. WHAT! For her final fashion magic trick, Ms. Fenty rocks grills with so much swagger we're petitioning that she wear them every day. Or at least until she reinvents herself again.
