If there's one celebrity's closet I'd like to peep into (or roll around on the floor of), it would be Chloë Sevigny's. Not only is this indie film queen the high priestess of downtown DIY style, she has amassed a cornucopia of fashion treasures from back in the nineties when she became the very first "It Girl" all the way to the years when she held court as an Oscar-nominated red carpet style-slayer (not to mention her collection of vintage and custom designer pieces of which, I presume, there are many crammed up in there). Thanks to Opening Ceremony, my fash-wish has come true courtesy of a filmed tour of Chloë's closet in her East Village garden apartment. Not only does this five minute vid feature Chloë wearing the black Zip-Off Godet Dress from her newly arrived Chloë Sevigny for Opening Ceremony resort collection, it also showcases her recent haircut and color change from the longer, darker 'do she debuted on the runway for Kenzo's spring 2012 show in Paris. Oh, and did we mention her closet is frock-full of Comme des Garcons, Yves Saint Laurent, and rare photos of herself posing with Kate Moss back in the day?

The video opens with a laughing Chloë standing in her all-pink bedroom on the threshold of her gigantasaurus fashion closet where garments float down from the ceiling and free wall space is covered in drawings by Alber Elbaz back when he designed for YSL. Miss S pulls out a set of bunny ears she constructed for the movie Gummo, a silver dog collar she bought in LA (of which she deadpans, she finds boring—the city, not the collar), as well as a rare Commes des Garcons pink jacket with huge hearts cut out of it which is completely amazing. Pink, incidentally, is her favorite color and she also admits to being "a pack rat hoarder type." She then pops on a Yohji Yamamoto hat to play off her new haircut and casually mentions the time she walked in the Miu Miu show with Kate Moss and has a photo of them backstage of which she produces—after walking up a short flight of STAIRS inside the closet—and then the video cuts out and says "To be continued…" Um, WHEN, Opening Ceremony? WHEN?!
