Emma Watson attends the U.K. premiere of “My Week with Marilyn” in London, England.
Miss Emma Watson has turned into quite the ingenue. After graduating (with HONORS) from the Harry Potter movies and enrolling in college here in the U.S., the former Hermione Granger has made a new name for herself as a bona fide fashion STAH. Not only has she landed multiple coveted magazine covers like Vogue and British Elle, she’s fronted a fragrance campaign for Lancôme’s Trésor Midnight Rose perfume and has been working on many a new movie. Her major role in the upcoming The Perks of Being a Wallflower is getting a lot of buzz, but we’ll see her in a supporting role first in the upcoming My Week With Marilyn, in which she plays a wardrobe assistant (love it already). No stranger to the fashionable glare of the red carpet bulbs, Miss Watson turned it out in true class-act style for the premiere of Marilyn and toted the COOLEST Perspex leopard clutch.
Emma’s cream top with a black ribbon-belted peplum and shimmery frippery-lined bodice top is by Jason Wu. Part of his spring 2012 collection, the top originally debuted on the runway with matching silk shorts, but we prefer it with the addition of this sleek black pencil skirt (very A-list movie star). We’re still completely obsessed with Emma’s shorter ’do, too, and when it’s kept simple and brushed to the side like this, her face is emphasized in such a subtle way. And such a face it is! Emma’s youthful look here is all about pronounced eyes and heavier brows, rosy pink cheeks, and the lightest tint of pale pink sheen on the lips. The jewelry is kept to a minimum with a pair of Solange Azagury-Partridge earrings and black suede Jimmy Choo platform sandals. But this CLUTCH! It has its claws ripping through our steadfast style hearts! Designed by Charlotte Olympia (which means, man, we wish we could afford it), it’s actually one leopard-print clutch enclosed inside of a Perspex clutch and we WANT, WANT, WANT. In fact, we want everything about this youthful yet ladylike look. Sigh.
