Is Kellan Lutz Getting Too Buff? We Investigate!

Bulging veins. Rippling biceps. Perky pecs. White knuckles. Intense smizing. The November Men’s Fitness cover featuring Twilight’s Kellan Lutz is *gulp* kind of scary. Like, Kellan, bro, why so mad? Remember when you used to be more lean and less mean? We miss those days. We’re all about fitness and health and, heh, shirtless dudes, but maybe you need to slow your roll a little bit. Like, go out for a burger and fries with some friends. Hang out. Drink a beer. Or two. Or even three. You probably have less than 1 percent body fat, which is TOTALLY admirable and cool and everything, but think of cuddle time. Think of hugs. Think of how much they’ll hurt without a layer of padding in between. Think of us, Kellan.

Anywho, maybe we’re crazy, but we think he’s getting a tad TOO buff around the biceps. Just earlier this summer we were practically sweating when we peeped him without his shirt on, and now we’re all, “Wha…wha happened?” But maybe our eyes are playing tricks on us. WE NEED A SIDE-BY-SIDE COMPARISON.

On the left, Kellan in July of this year, and on the right, Kellan on Men’s Fitness. Aside from the VAST hair difference, we’re also noticing that our man used to have smaller pecs and biceps. Despite what most people say, WE’RE NOT CRAZY. He’s definitely buffing up big time! Apparently he trained his butt off for his latest film Immortals in which he plays a Greek god. He told Men’s Fitness, “I ate 16 eggs every morning. I got up to 220 pounds of solid muscle. We’d work out every day. […] We were doing push-ups on top of the Humvees. We were throwing wheels and rocks. We were timing each other, betting who can do the most push-ups, just to keep our sanity.” Wut. We can’t even do one push-up. FINE. We admire all your hard work and dedication, Kellan, so we’ll let you get overly buff this one time, but remember—think of the cuddles.
