Why is it that the entire day (month, year?) seems utterly transformed and uplifted when Beyoncé pops up on a magazine cover? Because she RUNS THE WORLD, y'all! The entire MTV Style team's bleh-tastic Tuesday morning turned into a hair whipping, coffee-spitting frenzy of gaspness when we beheld not one, but TWO Bey-Bey covers for the November issue of Harper's Bazaar. Not only were they shot by downtown photog extraordinaire Terry Richardson, the entire spread and accompanying article features an insane amount of "FASHION!" (cue jazz hands), B's thoughts on style and her new maternity line, as well as an exclusive behind-the-scenes video shot at Manhattan's mega-glam Standard Hotel. In the accompanying cover article (which is extended into two parts), Queen B talks about everything from sipping wine in sweats with BFF Gwyneth Paltrow to her relationships with sister Solange Knowles as well as husband and "great man," Jay-Z. Sigh, this issue needs to be in our hands immediately.

On the newsstand cover of the issue (we'll be getting BOTH, FYI), Bey has a serious case of sparkle motion going on in a Reed Krakoff sequin dress, vamp eyes, fan-blown hair, and an open mouth "HAIII!" expression that confirms she is, in fact, talking to us like she always does in our heads. For the subscriber issue, she's clearly rocking out fo' realsies in a Salvatore Ferragamo beaded coat that accentuates her Barbie legs, explosive curls, and guitar hero stance. Um, can we just stop here a moment, behold this photo, and say—in type—OY BEY!!! (We were going to go with "MAMA MIA!" which works, too.) We can see both of these covers going in the obsessive fan files forever.

Showing not a trace of her pregnancy, which was "announced" in glowing, hand-on-bump fashion (in Lanvin no less) at the 2011 Video Music Awards, Beyoncé opens up about her impending motherhood in the issue. (Apparently, she went through 70 gowns before choosing the orange Lanvin!) As for the way she announced it at the VMAs, she tells Bazaar, "I decided to say nothing and proudly show my baby bump. I felt it was more powerful to see the love and enthusiasm as opposed to saying anything." She also discusses an upcoming maternity line for the House of Dereon that will no doubt echo her desire to "feel edgy and sexy" during her pregnancy. "Flowy fabrics are always flattering," she says, "but I still rock my stilettos."
