On Monday night, I stopped by the Brian Lichtenberg X Greko Sklavounos party at Le Bain, hosted by the stunning Cassie, for the release of their collaborative video installation "Song of the Siren." Brian is an L.A.-based designer who has outfitted EVERYBODY from Shakira to Nicki Minaj, and his extended celeb hit list includes Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Kim Kardashian, M.I.A., Paris Hilton, Kreayshawn, Kristin Cavallari, Nicole Scherzinger, and Ciara, to name a few. Greko, Brian's collaborator, is a director and photographer also based out of Los Angeles whose work has appeared in Dazed & Confused, WWD, and Vogue Hommes Japan.

Brian was gracious enough to take a few minutes to dish about whether he'd be designing maternity wear for Beyoncé , his love of all things fur, and of course Grace Jones (or in this case, Grace "Bones," but more on that later).

MTV Style: How did the collabo with you and Greko Sklavounos come about?

Brian Lichtenberg: We've known each other for about five years and we've worked on a lot of projects together.

Who would your dream collaboration be with?

Either Nike or Levi's.

When did you first start working with Beyoncé?

I first worked with her creative director on her video for "Diva." I designed the bodysuit and leggings she's seen wearing when she's on the light tube. I also did a few headpieces for the video. I've worked a lot with her stylist for a number of things and I have to say she's SO sweet. She's definitely one of the nicest people I've met and she's very down-to-earth. I remember once we were on set and I looked over and saw her sipping a Gatorade...she's a real person. (Click here to check out some of the looks.)

Are you and Bey planning any maternity clothes for videos down the line?

[Laughs] A lot of people have actually asked me that! I'm open to it, and I'll definitely be gifting her some custom maternity clothes in the near future.

Favorite music video you've ever worked on?

"Run the World (Girls)."

What are your favorite trends for this coming fall/winter and spring of next year?

For fall...fur. Definitly fur. For spring...sheer. [laughs] The feeling of being naked is going to be huge.

Tell me about your capsule collection with Forever 21.

It was an amazing experience. It was the first time Forever 21 collaborated with anyone. It was set up through a mutual friend, and it just worked out.

What artist would you like to work with in the future?

Cassie! She's working on her new album and I'd love to be a part of it.

Where do you go for inspiration?

I love people-watching. Seeing people really inspires me.

I caught up with Miss Cassie herself and chatted about her upcoming single, "King of Hearts," (due at the end of October [CAN'T WAIT]). We also got to talk about her relationship with Brian. "I love how free Brian is," she says. "He's not just about fashion. He's the most creative, sweet soul. All of my Lichtenberg dresses are the ones that pop out of my closet." When I told her that he said she's the artist he'd like to work with in the future, she said "We always say that about each other. He always says me and I always says him!" Dorbz. I can't wait to see what the future holds for both of them.

That's when I ran into MTV Style favorite, Zana Bayne, who was sipping lemonade and decked out in some SICK'NING, blinged-out BL leggings, which you can cop here (you're welcome). Noteworthy trends from attendees were: bleached blonde hair with dark roots, LOTS OF TANKS (sometimes worn under blazers...totally my jam), and, again, red pants. If there was ever a time to add some red pants to your wardrobe...this would be it.

MTV STYLE'S TOP 3 PICKS FROM BRIAN LICHTENBERG:

The Rose Powder Safari Silk Dress with the open back. This dress would look amazing with a pair of pumps or worn as a shirt to top your favorite pair of jeans.

Kind of obsessed with the Red Velvet One-Shoulder Dress, especially in leopard print. This is the perfect outfit for any party from now until the holidays.

And last but certainly not least...the Grace Bones tank. It's MAJOR. Though it's pictured on BL's site on a woman, this tank is most def unisex and you should RUN not walk (or just click) before these are sold out. Beyoncé was seen wearing this little piece of heaven in her Complex magazine spread. Love!
