If there’s one absolute must-have accessory to buy before heading back to school, it’s knee socks. Knitted thigh-highs instantly transform an outfit from just plain cute to over-the-top adorable. Not only will they make your classmates super jealous, but they’re a practical way to transition from summer to fall without having to stow away those short skirts just yet. Check out how these bloggers sported their over-the-knee socks in three equally adorable ways!

Kat Kao of Kats Love Fashion
Kat hails from New Jersey and brings a romantic charm to her outfit with light green thigh-high stockings. She paired her socks with a twee floral lace Marshalls dress, a beige ruffled Marshalls cardigan, and white Forever 21 oxford shoes. Note: Slipping on stockings MAY make you as carefree at Kat.

Cosette Munch of Cosette Munch
Swedish blogger Cosette is a fiery-haired beauty with some crazily cop-worthy style. She wore high-waisted denim button and zip shorts, a black tank, black scarf, sheer black thigh-highs, lace-up black boots, a black hat, and a silver clock necklace. P.S. We DARE you not to fall in love with her after just one visit to her blog.

Annika is one of those naturally beautiful cool girls who has a serious penchant for fashion. She rocked an outfit that screams back to school—a navy blue Monki blazer, an H&M blue and white striped polo, a Forever 21 burgundy skirt, ASOS gray knee highs, a brown leather Vero Moda satchel, and brown leather Jeffrey Campbell Lita platforms. To make yourself look EXTRA studious, add some plastic-rimmed glasses like Annika—hers are from Chanel.
