You know when you’re the type of anxious excited where your eyeballs vibrate a little and you’re tearing through craft services because you’re maybe burning hundreds of calories from sheer excitement? Well, I haz that. I can only imagine that the performers and scores of backup dancers are feeling similarly so THANK goodness for the magic of flattering lighting and MAKEUP. Specifically MAC Cosmetics whose pro team are responsible for the looks of Britney Spears’s Tribute dancers and Pitbull’s scores of bronzed Miami beauties.

Think about it: You’re DANCING. ONSTAGE. Sometimes under wigs and in heels. It’s no small task to keep your face from melting clean off and pooling in your belly button. The biggest tips is that a) you have to have a dramatic eyes so as to not get “washed out” and b) SERIOUSLY water-resistant looks and c) a TON of powder.

For Pitbull’s dancers, there will be smokiness, a look suited for “the club” (befittingly) with products that ranged from Process Magenta lip pencil and Show Orchid Chromographic eye pencil to Smolder eye kohl and Woodwinked eye shadow. Britney Spears’s Tribute dancers in contrast will be all about a natural, dewy, soft look with face and body foundation for evening, Naked Pigment and All That Glitters eyeshadow–all working in concert (heh) to read beautifully on camera.

But if you’re NOT a world-traveling dancer or performer who routinely undulates in synchronicity for an AWESOME annual cable award show (FIX IT! Jk, not all of us can be so limber) all you need for a RAGING night on the town is these three must-haves:

1. Mineralize Skinfinish natural powder
2. Black Track fluidline eyeliner
3. Dainty blush

BOOM. All road-tested and approved. You’re welcome and see you in a bit for our red carpet.
