Quick! Erase all memories of over-sized rainbow tie-dye tees paired with hemp necklaces and Birkenstocks—we've got three BEYOND adorable ensembles that'll make you rethink the '60s style. From tanks to skirts to pants, anything can be transformed into a dye-lightful (heh, sorry) staple. We found three bloggers who rocked tie-dye in ways that are more hip and less hippie.
Morgan Joanel of Mojomade
Aussie blogger/musician Morgan is kind of a phenom in the fashion world—she manages to mix today's trends with a spot-on mod '60s aesthetic. Here she went a little more modern in a black and white tie-dye tank top, black Wish maxi skirt, cross necklace and ring, black turban, copper cuff, brown belt, studded clogs, and self-made charm bracelet. Surprisingly, that black top under her tank isn't another shirt, it's a sports bra. Genius!
Nicola Kirkbride of Nicola-Claire
Scotland-based beauty Nicola is one of those effortlessly cool girls who can wear ANYTHING and still look good. For her take on tie-dye, she paired a black, red, and white Urban Outfitters midi skirt with a plain black tank. She finished her look with a super wide Warehouse belt to add "a bit of structure" to her ensemble. She too accessorized with an ASOS cross necklace, studded Topshop bag, and Topshop platform booties. We dye!
Carla Violet of Little Miss Violet
Carla comes alllll the way from China to bring us her one-of-a-kind ensemble and cute to boot visage. She models (with an AMAZING backdrop, we must say) a DIY open teal vest, Black Moss tie-dye pants, ruffled white Bossini tank, thrifted brown fur bag, owl necklace and ankle strap platform shoes. We love how she added a pop of color with the vest to give her outfit that extra punch. Plus, she's posting how to make it on her blog real soon! Weeee.
