We were BEYOND excited when we heard Hillsie Kristin Cavallari was engaged to Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler. SO excited, in fact, that we already picked out some to-die-for wedding dresses KCav might wear on the big day, drooled over her gargantuan engagement ring, AND perused through her registry (she wants a sausage stuffer kit, hehe). But sadly, just this past weekend Kristin and Jay called off their engagement. After sobbing uncontrollably while blasting Celine Dion (What? Don't even PRETEND you don't bust out a little Di once in a while) and watching old Hills reruns online, we tried to cope. We just wanted a LITTLE bit more of KCav's wedding in our lives before it was cut short.

Oddly enough, Life & Style released some pics of Kristin trying on some GORGE wedding dresses a mere two days before she and Jay called it off. The gowns, by Anne Bowen and Mon Cheri Bridals, looked STUNNING on Kristin against her radiant skin and sun-kissed blonde waves. Not to toot our own horn here, but we kiinndd of nailed it when we guessed what Kristin would wear. Strapless? Check. Form-fitting? Check. Classic? Check.

In her first look, she is so princess-chic in a strapless drop-waist structured bodice with light lace detail. Her huge, layered chiffon dress adds a girly softness to the fitted top. We can imagine this gown at an ornate ceremony in the city where ALL guests would be obliged to dress to impress. In her second dress, Kristin exudes a soft, romantic feel with her hair lightly pulled back into a loose bun. Her beaded gown, complete with a KILLER train, has a touch of chiffon around the neck for added texture. We could easily see Ms. Cavallari in this, walking down the aisle on the beach with a beautiful sunset radiating behind her. We can't wait to see Kristin as a bride—whether it's as soon as we planned or not—and we'll be JUST as excited/happy/fuh-reaking out the second time around!
