Amy Winehouse’s Fashion Collections May Still Be Released

Almost a year ago now, Amy Winehouse teamed up with Brit sportswear line (known for their punk/rockabilly/TENNIS following) Fred Perry to collaborate on a collection. The result was totally Winehouse—bright, reminiscent, filled with narrow pencil skirts and high waists. Earlier this year, the second collaboration was released and has since sold out on the Fred Perry site. Speculation now suggests that, despite her tragic passing, Amy x Fred may have several more seasons under their belt.

Fashionista points out that the brand has stayed mum since the singer’s death, but directs eagle-eyes to the October issue of Harper’s Bazaar, where Amy confides, “’We’ve pretty much done like up to autumn/winter 2012, and I’m like, ‘Have we?’ Yeah!’” This means, for those keeping count, there is a possibility of three more collections that Amy has had her hand in. Fashionista reached out to Fred Perry, and the line said that the collaboration will be on hold until they speak with Amy’s family and management, and they were unable to make any sort of definitive comment. But in this time of sadness, we hope to get a glimpse of Amy inimitable style in the future.
