While we're rabidly awaiting details about the highly anticipated fashion debuts of both Kanye West and Lil Wayne, so far all we've had to go on is they're happening at some point soon. In the meantime, we've debated on which line we'd rather wear but, sigh, we still can't make a decision. Alas, we FINALLY have some breaking news to report, and it involves stylists!

Harper's Bazaar Australia has confirmed that Kanye is consulting with their fashion editor and stylist, Christine Centenera, and he has been since March. A favorite of fashion photo bloggers, this high-heel wearing, Céline-loving, longtime girlfriend of Aussie designer Josh Goot has been flying to Paris twice a month to work with the rapper turned designer. Also, Harper's is confirming that the line will, indeed, be a spring/summer 2012 collection, which means it'll most likely debut during one of the fashion weeks (NY, London, Milan, Paris, who knows?!) in September. Even though former Central St. Martins student Louise Goldin is designing the line, we're hoping Centenera's relaxed yet sophisticated designer mashup style—think baggy jeans with studded jackets and wedge booties with bomber jackets—will kick up his collection.

Speaking of stylists, Lil Wayne credits his own style master, Marissa Torres, for his "funky" style, telling XXL magazine, "I got that from my stylist, Marissa. I'm funky, like she say. I wear a whole bunch items at one time, you know what I mean?" We do, Weezy, we do, and we love ya for it! Gossip-mongers have been speculating for months about a relationship between the rapper and his stylist, but he was quick to shut those rumors down, calling her his "dude" and demanding an apology. Even though there's no confirmation yet, we're anticipating Marissa will be head honcho on Lil Wayne's line. Here's hoping for a shot at someday being able to buy that coveted Bette Davis sweatshirt.
