There's something about loud, graphic prints that look like they came straight from your mom's old Tupperware collection. A bit of bright design instantly adds punch to any outfit, and summer is ALL about bold, fun colors. Plus, in case you haven't heard, the '70s are BAAACCCCKKK. (Think we're lying? Please note two out of the three lovely ladies above are also wearing floppy hats. So THERE.) We scoured the interwebz to find three fashion bloggers who sported this look in three very different (but all awe-inspiring) ways, and we think you'll fall in love with ALL of them. Because, like us, you have eyes.
Mira Berglind of 365 Days
Mira is a GLOWING example of the term "Swedish beauty." Your jaw will literally drop scrolling through her photos because she is flawless. She has fun experimenting with makeup (she may be be the ONLY person in the world who looks fantastic in white lipstick), and we love her courageous choices! Exhibit A: Her bold, red patterned Topshop palazzo pants. These bad boys are the center of attention, so Mira kept the rest of her look simple (and '70s!) with a slouchy Weekday beige tank and brown H&M floppy hat. If it were up to us, we'd finish this ensemble off with some sky-high platforms! (Ed. note: Chrissy's answer to EVERYTHING.)
Emma Hackett of Scrapbook De La Emma
Australian-based blogger Emma Hackett is (sadly) entering the winter season down under, which explains the long sleeves and tights—but we still love this outfit nonetheless! Her fiery red hair (um, how do we get locks like this?! SO PERFECT.) matches her sheer Sportsgirl blouse perfectly. Her bold Cotton On patterned skirt pops against her black tights and FSW lace-up booties. We also dig her modern take on the floppy hat in slate gray.
Kaelah Bee of Little Chief Honeybee
Kaelah's blog is straight up happy-making. This Southern cutie is loads of fun with her wonderful tattoos and constantly-changing hair colors (BRING BACK THE COTTON CANDY PINK!). Now, when she posted this outfit she called the print on this LeLapinDor dress "Navajo," so we're going to have to politely pop in: It has an Aztec-meets-Grandma's-living-room-wallpaper vibe, but either way, it's GORGE. She took a more contemporary approach to the '70s look by pairing her frock with a floral Forever 21 cardigan and sky-blue Blowfish wedges. But, Kaelah, girl, you're going to have to stop being SO DARN CUTE before we just explode.
