Sometimes shielding yourself from the sun can look downright ADORABLE. Since this summer is all about florals, maxis, and sky-high platforms, the perfect way to beat those sunny rays is with a ’70s-inspired wide-brimmed hat. We scoured the internetz for fashion bloggers who sported their chateaus in such steal-worthy styles that we literally had to chain ourselves to our desks to keep us from running to the nearest thrift shop immediately. Disclaimer: This might happen to you.

Melbourne-based blogger Sam Sidney of Twin Cat Vintage may be on the opposite side of the globe, but her style hits SO close to home. We love her structured vintage hat she paired with Sass & Bide shirt and UH-MAZING studded harness. Not only is her illusion skirt PERFECT paired with her airy blouse, but she made it herself! Someone please give this girl 1,000 extra style points. OK, BAM, we just did.

Madeline Hansen of the blog Jean Greige is a true L.A. fashion girl that you’ll become obsessed with the SECOND you land on her site. Her accessories are always killer (no seriously, look), and she is cute to boot! We’re sooo into her vintage ’80s throwback wide-brimmed hat, and we are even MORE into the fact that she hacked her floral vintage dress to a shorter length! Then, she threw a comfy peach sweater over her dress, put on some Jeffrey Campbell platforms (which is like catnip to the MTV Style girls), accessorized to the nines, and OFFICIALLY made us super jealous of this entire summer ensemble.

Hailing from Canada, KD Faustino’s blog The Girl With The Messy Hair is QUITE the misnomer. (Her hair is always perfect. Sorry. It’s the truth.) Her effortless style makes us wish we could rock straw floppy hats as well as she does! We love how elegant she looks pairing her ’70s chateau with a gray off-the-shoulder H&M shirt, thrifted leopard maxi skirt (GREAT FIND!), and beige suede Chinese Laundry wedge boots. But we do have one thing to say to Ms. Faustino: Cheer up, girl! You look FABULOUS.
