Beyoncé Knowles Kills Paris Dead With Her Insanely Chic Street Style

You know how when you think of GOING TO PARIS you picture yourself against the most glorious backdrops wearing the most effortlessly chic garb? A chapeau maybe. Or a bateau-neck striped St. James three-quarter-sleeve thing with an insanely tied scarf in a knot that is basically the secret handshake to Parisian lady-onlookers so they can know INSTANTLY that you, too, are awesome? Storybook vistas of sunny, cobblestone sidewalks and romantic cafés (with the best light) where you sit outside so all of the arrondissements and stuff can take note of your mind-blowingly perfect ensembles (obvi). I don't know about you, but Beyoncé just put all of my fantasies to shame with her outfits THIS WEEKEND ALONE. But then, why am I surprised? SHE'S BEYONCÉ.

Who else but B can move so effortlessly between looking polished and edgy? One day, she'll rock a black Roland Mouret jumpsuit with round-frame sunglasses and an expertly disheveled bedhead look. The next, she's en route to an Easter brunch at Fouquets, perfectly primped in a two-toned Marc Jacobs polka-dot frock, Christian Louboutin peep toes, and Balmain satchel. And don't even get me started on this petaled/sheer Gucci dress/masterpiece she wore for a photoshoot with Harper's Bazaar. DEEEEAAAAAADEDEDED and then revived ONLY TO DIE AGAIN.

Balmain, it seems, was a kind of theme for the weekend, as we see her pictured carrying the ubiquitous satchel — this time paired with a black-and-gold asymmetrical dress by Isabel Marant and T-strap heels by Alexander McQueen — and again at Paris Disney in head-to-toe Balmain (minus the Goofy hat). P.S. Who but Beyoncé can still look STONE COLD GORGE in a GOOFY HAT?? Like, it's not in my Paris fantasies but maybe it should be?!? Alls we're saying is, thank you. Thank you for taking our very reveries and making them regular. Middling at best. But with an approachable smile and total, 100 percent aplomb. Fin.
