When we first heard that one of our fave online retailers,, was the latest to get in on the bridal game, we got all googly-eyed. Big dreamy designers like Lela Rose! Halston! BCBG Max Azria! All at a click’s reach ranging from the VERRRY affordable $195 to the reasonable-for-a-wedding-dress-but-still-sorta-expensive $5,000 in short, long, fashion-forward, and classic styles. But then we backtracked. Not because we’re not exactly, technically, anywhere near an engagement (idle dress dreaming is innate for the ladies regardless of whether you’ve nabbed a ring. #thatsanotherdaydream), but because who would agree to buy the “most important dress of your life etc. etc.” online without EVER trying it on first?! That’s a pretty big gamble. So unless this is a Vegas-style impromptu throwdown, we’re guessing it’s one most people aren’t willing to take. Then again, any gown will need major alterations. So is the risk worth saving some bucks and snagging a big name designer within five to seven business days? What say you? We’re torn. Chime in in the comments!

+ Would you buy your wedding dress online? Or would you ONLY say “Yes to the Dress” in person?
