Florence Welch’s Best Black-And-White Looks

What’s black and white and red all over this fall? Florence Welch’s style, that’s what. On more than a few occasions we’ve spotted the eccentric frontwoman from Florence + the Machine rocking the monochromatic look, topped with her signature head full of flaming red hair. From black sparkly minidresses (like the one she wore above during her performance on Saturday Night Live on Nov. 20) to long, white Victorian gowns, the quirky-chic fashionista seems to have found the perfect autumn palette, and she’s sticking to it.

Florence added life to a long, pretty-basic black dress in New York on Nov. 18, with a playful pop of red nail polish and lipstick, plus a few chunky rings. While performing in Oakland, Calif., on Nov. 5, Florence skipped shoes and accessories altogether and was outfitted in nothing more than a floaty, ethereal white dress.

Florence went über-conservative at a NYC performance on Nov. 2, wearing a full-length white dress with long, loose sleeves and a floppy bow tie. And days before, in London, she showed off her legs in a feathered miniskirt that she teamed with a black blouse.
