VMAs 2010: The Top 10 Most Outrageous Outfits At The Video Music Awards!

Fashion is supposed to be fun. But sometimes, celebrities and musicians can take it to another level — an OUTRAGEOUS level, which is one of the best parts of the show! Check out the top 10 most outrageous outfits from last night's 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. See the list below!

1. Lady Gaga in Franc Fernandez

Lady Gaga closed the show in a MEAT dress that reminded us of artist Mark Ryden's "The Meat Show." To say the outfit was attention-grabbing would be an understatement. We couldn't stop starting at it! The pop singer sure knows how to steal the show with her sartorial choices.

2. Cher's "If I Could Turn Back Time" Outfit

We thought we were experiencing déjà vu when we saw Cher come on stage in the sheer, black number! It was a total throwback to the video for her classic hit, and we applaud Cher for still being brave enough to flaunt her fab figure!

3. Kanye West’s Red Look Repeat!

Kanye West is a total fashion junkie, which is why we were surprised to see him repeat his outfit from the 2010 BET Awards in June to tonight's events. He ditched the mega-size necklace and put on a shirt, but that bright red color was unforgettable! The cut and fit of the jacket are fantastic, and those pants were so tight, we almost saw everything ...

4. Nicki Minaj in Marco Marco

Nicki Minaj's hot pink and purple space-inspired performance outfit reminded us of bubble gum! How delicious. And if skintight metallic can't make you smile, then a pink beehive definitely will.

5. Pharrell Williams' Red Pants

You'd think it was almost Christmastime by the way Pharrell Williams rocked this red-and-green ensemble. It looked like he rolled out of bed in pajama pants and rolled them up for his red carpet walk. But actually, they were pants from his Ice Cream label, and those are tiny fudge Popsicles decorating his pants!

6. Will.i.am in ... Well, We're Really Not Sure

Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas proved that he's not afraid to take a risk in this head-to-toe black number, which featured a leather jacket zip-up top and a helmet with hot pink accents.

7. Ke$ha's Garbage Bag-Inspired Black Dress

This look is what we'd call trash bag chic — it looks like Ke$ha went Dumpster diving before walking the red carpet, but somehow, she still has that rockstar glam about her. It's a look that Ke$ha has truly perfected.

8. Robyn in Acne Boots

We're not sure anyone else could have pulled off these knee-high boots, but Robyn made these navy blue shoes look pretty fantastic. What's really cool about this footwear is that it's not even available yet! They are Acne boots from next season's collection.

9. The Situation’s Wish-Upon-A-Star Hair

Oh, Mike. It would have been awesome if you could have left the Jersey-inspired, overly gelled 'do for just a night. Alas, you could not. Does the star help you land chicks? Or grenades? We actually find this look endearing.

10. Eva Pigford in Falguni & Shane Peacock

Eva Pigford, winner of America's Next Top Model Season 3, wore this busy dress that had so many colors to the Video Music Awards. It had too many embellishments for our liking, but we love her Versace heels!
