Roxy Olin’s Outfit-By-Outfit Breakdown From ‘The City': Staying Strong In Black And Blue

Roxy and Whitney fought a lot — and in public! — on last night’s episode of The City. But Roxy stayed strong, and so did her look (because feelings and style are related, obviously). Allow us to look at her outfits in ridiculously close detail …

Outfit 1: When Roxy made the bold move to check out a new apartment behind Whitney’s back, she wore black shorts, a white blouse, a cuffed black blazer, and cobalt-colored sandals by Pour La Victoire. This outfit says, “I’m responsible enough to get my own place.” Sadly, she can’t afford it on her own. Which leads to …

Outfit 2: Roxy blinged out in a black vest embellished with gemstones when she went to ask her dad to ask if he’d foot the $4,000-a-month bill for her new pad. He tells her no and says that she basically needs to figure out her life. Sigh. Power shoulders these are not.

Outfit 3: Whitney made things hella awkward around the People’s Revolution office, but Roxy kept her cool with a black and blue dress from BCBG Max Azria’s spring collection (it was selling for $283, but it sold out online).

Outfit 4: Then she totally looked amazing at the Tulips & Pansies benefit with the black and tan one-shoulder bandage dress and spiky jewelry. Who wants to mess with a girl who could use her necklace as a weapon?

Outfit 5: Finally, the move-out scene: Roxy packed her bags in a simple black racer-back dress and royal blue beaded necklace. The Pour La Victoire blue pumps also reappeared for the second time in one episode. This outfit has to be our favorite! We barely noticed that was even Whitney with her in the junky tee and beat-up jeans because Roxy’s outfit killed it.
