Sunny Day Real Estate, Shudder to Think, Bauhaus, Guru, Herbie Hancock, Sublime, Team Dresch...
Seattle noise-pop band Sunny Day Real Estate, who recently
re-formed with ex-Mommyheads bassist Jeff Palmer, will
make their first public appearance in several
years at the Moore Theatre in Seattle on July 11. Tickets will go on
sale in mid-June. Fans on the East Coast will get to check out the new
lineup when the band plays the Intelfest at the Irving Plaza in
New York City on July 17. Original bassist Nate Mendel declined
to join the reunited band, opting instead to continue to perform with
Dave Grohl's Foo Fighters. Sunny Day Real Estate will
release their third LP, How Feels It To Be Something, on
Sept. 22.
