Drake's Nothing Was The Same Album Hits Platinum Sales Mark

By Elijah Watson

Now would be a perfect time for Drake to have his own celebration feast of lobster and shrimp. The rapper's latest album, Nothing Was The Same, has officially gone platinum.

Drizzy's third studio album moved 38,274 copies this week, pushing it over the one million mark. This serves as his third platinum album, and his fastest selling effort yet.

The OVO maestro is in the middle of his "Would You Like A Tour?" jaunt in support of the project, and apparently did karaoke earlier this week to wind down, according to Noisey. And maybe in celebration of his recent accomplishments? (he recently became the global ambassador for the Toronto Raptors.)

Who knows, but it's likely that Champagne Papi will be taking some celebratory shots before the week ends. (Just make sure to clean that Grammy if you're planning on using it as a cup again, Drizzy.)
