Troy Ave Promises Refund On New York City Album

A rapper who stands behind his product, literally. Street rapper Troy Ave dropped his New York City album on Monday (November 4) and the Brooklyn native is sure it's going to be a masterpiece; so much so, that he's offering a money-back guarantee to anyone who doesn't like it.

He tells the Village Voice, "Yes and I have the money to prove it. I'm going to show and prove. You can f--- with everything straight through. Every type of word people use to explain this album will be exclamatory words."

Sounds too good to be true? Troy says that his word is bond and if you're not feeling New York City, just tell him. "I never lie to people. That's why my word is so good in the streets. You can't come where I come from and still be out here, living or be respected, if your word is not good," he affirms.

The album, released via Adidas, features a lot of New York hip-hop power with contributions from N.O.R.E and Raekwon along with production by Araabmuzik and Harry Fraud.

Although independent, Troy Ave has increasingly been making his mark in hip-hop. He recently visited "RapFix Live" along with Maino, eXquire, Flatbush Zombies, Dyme-A-Duzin and Nitty Scott.
