It's a good day for 50 Cent. The superstar rapper will not be charged with domestic violence against his baby mama and instead, will be on unsupervised probation for three years.
50 earlier plead not guilty to charges of domestic violence after reportedly attacking one of his baby mothers, Daphne Joy, and destroying her California condo. TMZ shared that the rapper was not allowed to contact Joy and had to turn in his firearms during the proceedings.
50 maintained his innocence throughout and even poked fun at the charges on social media, showing various Instagram photos of himself not in jail.
On Monday (October 28) his attorney, Scott Leemon, shared a statement of his client's agreement which reads: "Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson has entered into an agreement with the Los Angeles City Attorney to resolve the charges against him. The agreement called for Mr. Jackson to plead no contest to a single count of misdemeanor vandalism; which deals with the door of the apartment that was damaged and owned by the landlord. All remaining counts, including, the domestic violence charge will be dismissed. He has agreed to perform community service, attend counseling sessions and will be on unsupervised probation for a period of three (3) years."
