Ja Rule Wants To Write A Microwave Cookbook

MTV Summer Party At Wet N Wild

Ja Rule is ready to take over your microwave. The rapper, fresh out of prison, has plans to write a cookbook of microwaveable recipes and we're not talking popcorn and Hot Pockets.

PageSix reports that Ja was on chef Geoffrey Zakarian’s SiriusXM show, “Food Talk,” and dished on how being in jail inspired the book.

“He explained that while behind bars he learned to cook anything and everything in a microwave,” said a source to Page Six. Apparently Ja said he cooked fancy stuff like lasagna and cheesecake, yes cheesecake, in jail. The show airs today.

Ja still has musical aspirations. After returning from jail, Ja dropped "Fresh Out Da Pen." To prove that he hasn't lost touch with pop culture, the New York rapper name-checked a slew of references hot in hip-hop now like Miley Cyrus, Tom Ford, twerking and molly. Ja and Murder Inc mentor Irv Gotti recently told Power 105's Breakfast Club that they were both ready for a return to music.
