Chief Keef is heading back to jail. The rapper known for his legal run-ins is facing 20 days in jail after testing positive for marijuana.
His hometown newspaper The Chicago Tribune reports that the rapper was undergoing a random drug test stemming from a speeding ticket he received over the summer. Since Keef failed the test, he will be locked up in Cook County Jail.
Prior to the Tribune's story, various other media outlets were speculating that the jail sentence was due to missed child support payments.
The "I Don't Like" rapper took to Instagram to share the news with his fans. "Getting my Self ready To Get Locked Up! Love Everybody That Rocks With The So & Da Glo!" he shared. This was followed by "Walking in Court See y'all asses Later!"
Keef has spent much of his young career at odds with the law. He was arrested for disorderly conduct for smoking weed in his hotel room in Atlanta earlier this year. Just as this time, he lifecasted the incident on social media. "Jus Got Out Of Dekalb County jail In Atlanta Mad As f---," he tweeted, along with a string of Emoji.
