Kanye West's 'I Am A God' Spoofed As 'I Am A Dog'

By Maurice Bobb

Lots of people attempt to make light of Kanye West and fail miserably, but then there’s "Saturday Night Live’s" Jay Pharoah, who’s arguably the best at taking comedic jabs at the biggest celebrities. This time out, the funnyman takes aim at ‘Ye’s “I Am A God” with the hilarious parody “I Am A Dog.”

Pharoah doubles down and uses the visuals for Yeezus’ “Black Skinhead,” but instead of a menacing Kanye, there’s Jay wearing dog ears, walking other dogs, chasing the mailman with enraged glee, doling out copious amounts of leg humping and barking with extraneous spittle showers.

And the lyrics bring the funny, too, with lines like, “I am a dog, hurry up let me out the garage/hurry up and give my balls a massage/fore I start barking like Nicki Minaj.” The funniest moment, though, is when he raps, “I don’t bark, I roar/watch me drag my ass across your floor,” and does it, with the most demented look on his face.

Hope Yeezy has a sense of humor, because even he should get a kick out of this Above Average Production.
