Ja Rule and Ashanti are back to making beautiful music together. A few days ago, Ashanti tweeted a photo of the former Murder Inc artists together again.  "Uhh ohhhhh me & my bro @ruleyork in the lizzaaaabbbbb!!!!!!! We haven't seen each other in 4ever!!! &… " along with a photo of the two hugging it up.

She also added, "I had a dope instavid for yall but the sh#t got deleted I'm soooooooo heated!!!!!!"

Ja and Ashanti dominated the charts together in the early 2000s with songs like "Mesmerize" and "Always on Time."

Ja was recently just released from prison after nearly two years behind bars for illegal gun possession and federal tax evasion. "My client Jeffrey Atkins aka Ja Rule was released this morning from the Raybrook Correctional Facility in Upstate New York to serve out his federal time obligation due under the terms set forth in accordance with home confinement which were secured by his attorney Stacey Richman," said spokesperson Melanie A. Bonvicino in a statement that day. "At present, he looks forward to spending some time with his family while he completes his memoir."

Ashanti's working on her fifth studio album Braveheart some time this year. She collaborated with Busta Rhymes on first single "The Woman You Love." Additional collaborations include Meek Mill and French Montana on "No One Greater."
