The Weeknd is having no trouble persuading audiences to travel to Kiss Land, one single at a time. His latest single, “Love in the Sky," pours on the melodic instrumentals, complementing the Canadian crooner’s impressive range.
Kiss Land is depicted as a “dark, terrifying place” according to the Weeknd, and the video accompaniment for this new single includes a trippy yet sexy performance by MTV’s Artist to Watch.
The Weeknd's unique style and a co-sign from Drake got his initial buzz going, and in spite of rumors that the two were feuding when Abel didn't sign to OVO, Drake recently Instagrammed a photo of them working in the studio. The anticipated track could potentially land on Drake’s album, Nothing Was the Same, due September 17, or on the mature and dark Kiss Land, due September 10.
Until then, prepare to travel to Kiss Land with “Love in the Sky.”
