Everything is falling into place for Amanda Bynes and her hip-hop dreams. After telling the world that she wanted to be a rapper, the Nickelodeon alum was presented with a bonafide record deal offer from Chinga Chang Records and now, there’s a good chance that famed producer Wyclef may take on the challenge of putting her passion project together.
The hosts of VH1's "The Gossip Table" discussed the potential meeting of minds on this week show, since Bynes seems determined to put a record out. “I'm so looking forward to recording my album and going on tour! I can't wait to see you all at my concerts!” she tweeted last week.
Although Bynes and Clef’s meeting of musical minds didn’t happen Monday (June 17) as planned, Chinga Chang Records CEO Dan Herman told E! News that the Fugees legend is still interested in working with the troubled former teen star. "I think it would be perfect," Herman said of the possible collab. "Linking the two of them will be something major. This album is going to shock the world. She has such a great voice. Singers wish they could hit the notes that Amanda does."
