2 Chainz Goes For The Sequel With Sophomore Album Title

Nicki Minaj And 2 Chainz Perform At The Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE

2 Chainz was excited to announce that his sophomore album would arrive on September 10, the same week that he celebrates his birthday, and though that's still subject to change the Def Jam rapper has now revealed the LP's title, which is more likely stick.

He took to Twitter to announce the news on Saturday, after initially dropping it during his performance at Atlanta's Birthday Bash over the weekend.

The first single from B.O.A.T.S. II is "Feds Watching," which Pharrell produced. "He had a room full of all his folks and they were all in the zone," Pharrell told MTV News, explaining the recording atmosphere he walked into. "I [was] absorbing the air and the vibe, the tone, the pacing because everybody there was pretty much on a similar page. Immediately I started working on what that [vibe] felt like to me and that there's where the loop of the beat [came from].

"It's that '80s ska, reggae, glass-of-wine type of feel. I just put the drums up under it and it just happened that way," he said of the end result.
