On the topic of his epilepsy, Wayne said that his health now was "great." He shared that he didn't know that his March seizure incident would spark death rumors and he has since kept his health in check, saying, “I’ve taken those steps and a whole bunch of other steps to make sure that everything’s perfect."
Jimmy joked that he was with Wayne, holding his hand at the hospital, and that he should be included in the rapper's will. Wayne laughed and shook the comedian's hand. Someone who did send their well wishes was NBA star LeBron James, who Wayne called a "stand up guy."
Weezy was also asked about his claims that he slept with NBA baller Chris Bosh's wife during All-Star Weekend. Wayne jokingly responded, "I said that?" and explained that he was "just turned up that night."
The interview also covered Wayne's career plans. After years in the game, Wayne opened up about wanting to retire from rap, stating that he wants to call it quits after Tha Carter V. But don't worry. That might be years down the line, as Weezy has several solo and collaborative albums in the works. "My next album isn't Tha Carter V,' said Wayne, "but after Tha Carter V I HOPE that I can retire!"
What will the superstar do after retirement? According to him, just "regular stuff." Wayne was initially supposed to appear on the show last year but was a no-show. A horrible impersonator comedically took his place.
