J. Cole is a good sport and fans know this because after his highly anticipated album, Born Sinner, leaked online, he took the high road and offered up a legitimate listen to his sophomore LP via a stream.
Thank you for the love. Rather than acting like the leak didn’t happen, here’s the official album stream for those who haven’t heard it.

Since the “Power Trip” MC released the entire album, fans have taken to Twitter to offer up their own reviews of the 21-track project, especially commenting on two of the album’s most anticipated songs: “Let Nas Down” and the Kendrick Lamar-assisted “Forbidden Fruit.”

J.Cole & Kendrick Lamar be telling stories that you can visualize as you’re listening. That’s what makes them so great.

J.Cole has that magic.

J.cole is an artist. He isn’t boring, he isn’t weak. But y’all don’t understand art. Y’all understand money and f*ckin bitxhes

J Cole and Kendrick Lamar are my favorite rappers. When you listen to them it’s not just a nice beat, the lyrics make it worth something.

As a further test of his gamesmanship and competitive nature, J. Cole pushed his album release date up to June 18 to compete with Kanye West’s Yeezus. It was a bold move, but Cole is confident in his new work.
“Six months of my life was literally hell, which is what this album is about,” Cole said of the journey to recording the LP. “Going through hell, tryna make it to heaven, going through depression, trying to make it to happiness. The next six months of my life, I was making some of the worst, most uninspired music of my life.”
With fans having a full week to listen to the material, it’ll be interesting to see if they go out and support their favorite Roc Nation rapper when it counts most: that ever important first week.
Will you be picking up Born Sinner on June 18?
